My LO still loves the ride-in car even although she can walk unaided. She regularly pushes it around from outside, climbs underneath the seat, and climbs on top of it - much to my horror.

The Chicco London Stroller is a super lightweight stroller for keeping in the car. It's easy to manoeuvre and comes complete with a footmuff and rain cover.
