Calprofen is a strawberry flavoured Ibuprofen Suspension for babies and children. It is used for the relief of: Fever (raised temperature); Post-immunisation fever; Teething and toothache; Colds and influenza symptoms; Sore throat; Headache; Minor muscular aches and pains.

The brand is well known and can be found anywhere. It is more pricey than stores own brands and it comes with a special top and syringe that is excellent for dispensing the medicine. I'm not sold on the taste of this one, but my little boy (8 months) took it so it can't be too bad. Would recommend just wish it was cheaper.

Brilliant for when my little boy has a cold and ear infection, doctors wouldn't give him antibiotics, but was recommended to try him on this. Within three days I had my happy smiley boy back and because it tastes like calpol, he was none the wiser that it had any added extras in.
