Calpol is the only pain relief I can give my little boy because he is intolerant to artificial sweeteners (the main one being aspartamine). Thankfully calpol do a regular sweetened one as well as their sugar free and sugar free and colour free. Admittedly not all shops stock it as they wrongfully believe they are doing you a favour replacing the sugars for artificial sweeteners/chemicals!

I have only ever used calpol in the 1 dose sachets, I find them excellent, they bring any kind of fever down and baby gets some good rest.

Found it most handy to help bring my daughters high temperature down as well as been given to her after her injections. Find the syringe very handy to use and it is much better than the spoon that my mum used to give to me. I also always carry the calpol sashes in the changing bag incase of an emergency.
