Gave calpol to my little girl while teething and had a heavy cold. It worked quite quickly say 10-15minutes. The syringe was a bit stiff the first time I used it so ended up with it all over my baby rather than in her mouth! But learnt the second time and used two hands to administer it while laying my baby on my legs.

Works very well. Found it very useful after our baby had her inoculations, helped to reduce the fever.

I fortunately do not have to give my children medicine often but Calpol is the one I use when I need to. Tastes nice for kids and easy to dispense using the oral syringe provided. Can't argue with the price if it makes my kids feel better when they have a rotten head cold.
