Calpol is very good for a fever. It seemed to have an effect within 20 minutes of taking the medicine. The sachets are especially good when travelling and going on holidays.

Expensive but effective. The syringe version is particularly good and mess/hassle free although you do pay a premium for that as the drug dosage/ingredients are virtually the same in own brand varieties.

Good for teething coughs and colds tastes nice too. Can give my baby dry skin.
