Love the product but I think it's just because it's a household name. It's all about marketing and if we took away the adverts/boxes just like they have done with cigarette packets we wouldn't know the difference to a supermarket own brand.

Very good medicine but it's really expensive. I find that even Home Bargain's medicine are as good and a third of the price. Sorry.

The known leader in infant and child painkiller products. Tastes lovely (I may or may not link the syringe ??), nice looking bottle, contains a free dosing syringe.. these are great especially with my wriggly 9 month old! Although my older kids are age10 & age 15 and still like a bit of calpol when they are ill.. makes them feel better. I carry some of the sachets in my handbag in case I need some calpol on the go.. although I now put them in a small tupperware pot after the Calpol-sachet-splits-in-handbag-episode! The only downside with calpol is the price.. it's more often than not at least a fiver and I sometimes purchase a cheap one.. boots own or something if I don't have enough money
