Poor quality, flimsy, didn't feel it was safe. Bought a new one with in a week.

We recently changed to the first class seat as little bit is too big for maxi cosi. We decided on this seat as he can remain rear facing until he is 13kg and then we can turn it around for him to be forward facing. He seems very comfortable in it and it's easy to move from car to car.

We wanted a car seat that would last until our daughter was much older. We bought a Britax Dualfix car seat, which rotates on the base so you can put the baby in, turn it 90 degrees to face the rear, then when they are old enough, we can have them in the forward facing position. It can also be tilted, and the guidelines are printed on the seat, so you don't have to locate the instruction booklet. It uses isofix - which is in most modern cars - we have a Ford Focus which didn't have isofix but the local garage fitted them for around £40. It is an excellent choice for us for one primary reason - the rotation: (1) I had an emergency ceasarean section, and then infected stitches - the car seat allowed me to put my daughter in and turn the seat without strain on my stitches; and (2) I have scoliosis (curvature of the spine) which means bending down and putting a baby into a rear facing seat to start with would have caused me discomfort.
