Think this is seen as a slightly better product but when you check the nutrients etc there is very little difference so not really worth the extra money. However I had no problems with it.

Aptamil was our formula of choice as a back up incase breastfeeding wasn't an option for our daughter. I had friends who had used aptamil for their children and had no problems so I went with it. It turns out that she used formula from the day after her birth day until 1 year old. No problems, good value & easy to prepare. Also We noticed a difference in the consistency, colour & smell between the powder vs pre made formula but baby couldn't tell the difference.

This was the formula recommended to me by my health visitor with my first baby when I was having trouble breastfeeding. I had no problems whatsoever with the Aptimil First Milk and my daughter took to it without any fuss. After a few weeks we eventually moved to full formula feeding when I couldn't breastfeed anymore. She didn't suffer with colic - whether this was down to the formula or not is anyone's guess! - and she settled and slept really well. She moved onto the follow on milk with ease. With my second I combination fed until she was 7 months with Aptimil first milk and found she was much more colicky and suffered with wind for the first few months which I think was more down to what I was eating than the formula as she only had 2 bottle of formula a day. We moved on to the follow on milk after 6 months and again had no problems with the transition. I've heard Aptimil is supposed to be most like mothers milk and having combination fed both my daughters they had no problems going back and forth between bottle and breast so it worked for us!

I have used the ready made Aptamil formula in combination with breastfeeding since my baby was born. It's a very expensive way to go about it but as a single parent every convenience helps. It's annoying that the price seems to get more expensive so frequently. I almost can't cope with it anymore!

High quality formula, easy to prepare and store. Sold in big boxes as well as large and small ready to drink bottles which are really handy to go. More expensive than other popular brands but worth every penny. My baby loves it, this milk never causes any problems with his digestive system. Highly recommended.

I went with this milk just by chance but I think they are all very similar. I like that it offers a variety of milks e.g hungry baby.

Its a bit expensive but it suits my child. His colic disappeared almost immediately when we swapped over.
