Amazon is hit & miss as not all items come directly from Amazon but from a third party seller. Read reviews on individual sellers before buying. Also compare item prices with other retailers before buying as I found Amazon can be quite a bit more expensive than other websites for some items/ products. Amazon Prime came in very handy for me when I couldn

Hit and miss, things can often be found better priced else where, and the cheaper items are poor quality. Amazon bedding poor quality ripped after first wash. Be cautious when buying from third party seller.

Worth investing in prime service. When you are stuck at home with a newborn and desperately need items you can often get them sane day. 100% recommend amazon for new mums!
